It was my first time skiing in 5 years (I'd gone twice before) and Patrick's first time ever, so, needless to say, we pretty much tore things up and dominated the entire resort.
Here's Patrick struggling to get his boots on. This took us about 45 minutes:

Thomas poses for the cover of SkiGent magazine. Patrick wound up with the good snowboard pants, so I had these fabulously-bright, minimally-water-resistant rain pants that Mom had bought me when I was in Boy Scouts fifteen years ago. Stylin'!
Here we are at the top of the mountain. I don't know what mountain it is, and I don't know what mountain is in the background. So sue me. It was pretty, though:
